Education / Vocation

The Pershing County School District operates educational and vocational programs at the Lovelock Correctional Center.  The Coal Canyon High School has assigned 9 instructors, 1 administrative aide and a principal for this purpose.

Education/Law Library Entrance

The Coal Canyon High School also operates a non-access library, with over 12,000 books for high school and institution programs.  Readers select books from a  250-page catalog at the housing unit.  Submitted requests are filled at the library and books are delivered to the unit.
