The Lovelock Correctional Center Medical Department consists of:

• a 22 bed inpatient infirmary
• an outpatient medical clinic (Monday through Friday)
• a lab
• x-ray services
• outpatient psychological services
• gatekeeper medical services for Humboldt, Carlin and Wells Conservation Camps with once a month medical clinics held at each camp

The two part time Medical Doctors provide 4 days of medical clinic coverage.  On call duties of 24 hours a day, 7 days a week coverage are shared by these two doctors.  One physician Assistant provides medical clinic services full time Monday through Friday with once a month medical clinic responsibilities for each of the gatekeeper camps.

The Lovelock Correctional Center provides a full range of psychological and psychiatric services to it's offenders. Although LCC psychological services are coordinated through the medical clinic facility, each major division of LCC has a psychologist assigned to that division. They maintain office hours and clinics in those areas.
