Individuals who are not previously acquainted with inmates through the Nevada Department of Corrections should be wary of sending inmates money upon request for such items as release, restitution, or other claimed expenses and costs. The Department of Corrections does not have specified schedules for the payment of restitution, and does not require the payment of any fees for any type of release. The Department of Corrections assumes no responsibility for any statement made by an inmate who is requesting that funds be sent to them through the process indicated below. Coupons must be either printed from this site, or obtained from the inmate. The inmate is responsible for sending coupons to persons wishing to send the inmate money.

The following rules apply to the 2008 Gift Coupon program. Any violation of these rules will result in the rejection of the Gift Coupon.

1. Each inmate is allowed to recieve total deposits not to exceed $500.00, and will be exempt from charges levied against the inmate account.
2. The Gift Coupon must be received between November 1 and December 31.
3. PERSONAL CHECKS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. Send a Money Order or Cashier's Check only payable to NDOC FBO Inmate Name and Inmate Number. Mail with coupon to NDOC, P.O. Box 98687, Las Vegas, NV 89193-8687.
